Privacy policy

Last updated 6 October 2026

In shortLetterstroke has no accounts and never asks for your name or email. To count how the site is used, we record the words generated and the pages visited, with a one-way fingerprint of your IP address — never the address itself. We do not sell data and we do not show ads.

Who we are

Letterstroke (letterstroke.com) is a free website that turns Arabic and Malayalam words into handwriting animations. You can reach us at [email protected].

What we collect

When you visit a page or generate a word, we record:

We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, passwords or payment details from visitors, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we collect it

Stored on your own device

Your chosen animation speed is saved in your browser's local storage so it is remembered next time. The animations are created in your browser. You can clear this at any time in your browser settings.

Cookies

Visitors receive no cookies from Letterstroke. A single sign-in cookie is used only by the site's administrators.

Children

Letterstroke is made for learners of all ages, including children. It has no accounts and asks for no personal information. If you are a parent and have a concern, contact us and we will help.

Services we rely on

How long we keep it

Usage records are deleted automatically after 24 months.

Your choices

Because we do not store names, emails or IP addresses, we usually cannot link records to a particular person. If you would like us to look into or remove records, write to [email protected] and we will do our best to help.

Changes

If we add features that change what we collect — for example accounts, payments or advertising — we will update this page first and change the date above. See also our terms of use.
