Terms of use

Last updated 6 October 2026

Using Letterstroke

Letterstroke is free to use for learning and teaching. Please don't misuse it — for example by flooding it with automated requests, trying to access the admin tools, or copying the site's code or stroke data in bulk.

Using the animations

You may watch and show the animations for personal, family, classroom and other non-commercial learning — for example on a classroom screen. Please don't record, copy or re-publish them in bulk. For any other use, contact us first.

Accuracy

We take care to show correct stroke order, letter forms, transliteration and reading rules, but handwriting styles and teaching methods vary between schools and regions. Use Letterstroke alongside your teacher's guidance. If you spot a mistake, please tell us.

Fonts

Arabic letters are drawn from the Amiri typeface and Malayalam letters from the Gayathri typeface, both released under the SIL Open Font License.

No warranty

Letterstroke is provided as it is, without guarantees of availability or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from its use.

Changes and contact
